RANGE & ENVIRONMENTAL SERVICES For range and environmental services, SRS provides expert support in the areas of military test and training range planning, the analysis of encroachment impacts on training, National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) environmental planning, environmental analysis of ordnance use on military ranges, range and environmental applications of Geographic Information System (GIS) technologies, and public outreach support services. SRS currently supports Department of Defense (DoD), Federal agencies, and state clients under a variety of contracts. For military clients, SRS offers specialized services to sustain operational readiness through range planning. From offices at OSD to military installations around the world, SRS provides planning tools that ensure sustainable range management.
